Make Up Lessons

How our lessons work.

• We are open all year and close only for Public Holidays and 3 weeks over the Christmas break. Usually, we start back on January 9^th each year or the closest Monday.
• All students attend every week as this is the best way for technique, muscle memory, and discipline of the craft to form. 
• We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within the 24-hours are charged as normal. Cancellations made outside of the 24 hours are still charged but a make-up credit is given (valid for 90 days).
• 2 x Make-up lesson credit limit at any time and any Make-up Lesson Credits not used in the 3 months will be forfeited. (this is automatically tracked and cut off within the portal system.)
• Make-up Lesson Credits are only issued during the Public School Term. Lessons can be canceled with no charge if the lesson falls on a Public Holiday or through the Public School holidays. Again, this is only if more than 24 hours notice has been given.
• We have an easy-to-use Student Portal which allows you to manage all lessons, payments, and cancellations.
• Remember we have zoom lessons if you are unable to attend in person for any reason, Make-up lesson credits can be Zoom lessons if it’s not convenient to attend in person.

Booking a Make-up Lesson.

When you view the calendar section of the portal you will be able to book your makeup lessons in any spot available with your teacher. 

These include….

• Any spot a teacher has free on any day.
• When any student cancels a lesson, their spot becomes available for other students to book and use make-up lesson credits either in person or via Zoom. (Contact the studio if you would like your lesson to be via Zoom.)

There will be quite a few free spots each week and these will change, so be sure to check the calendar. If there is no spot available at a time that works, please chat with your teacher during your lesson to see if they can make time elsewhere. (This is at the discretion of each teacher individually.) Makeup credits last for 3 months so there will be time to use them. To minimise an overload of makeup lessons accruing, there is a limit of 2 x credits a student can hold at any time. Any cancellations made after you are issued with 2 make-up lesson credits, will be charged as normal.

If you need to cancel your lessons for more than 2 lessons in a row (Not including Public School Holidays), please contact Elite Music and we will make arrangements to rebook your lessons when you return.
